SATURDAY 29TH OCTOBER
We’re hoping to get permission to have a Pre Festival Launch Buskers Day around Rotherham.

The day would start around 10:30am and end around 3:30pm

The main Town Centre feature for this year’s Festival will be at The Gallery (Opposite Imperial Buildings) belonging to The Rotherham Culture Company.  This year’s Exhibition of Art is entitled “Rotherham Roots”, and will feature exhibits from top artists from around the South Yorkshire Region.

Each Wednesday it’s intended to hold a Music Evening by musicians from around the area, and a little beyond.

The evening will comprise of performances from two acts, with a break for Poetry and time for people to take a look at the pictures etc.

SATURDAY 19TH NOVEMBER    THE FESTIVAL WITHIN A FESTIVAL
A full day of music, drama, poetry, dance and the Arts organised by Gav Roberts.

From morning to night.

The entire Rotherham Arts Community coming together to put on a feast of entertainment for the “people of Rotherham”.

This is a highly ambitious project, but promises to be a fantastic event.

To express an interest in taking part either as an individual or as a Club / Society / or Group please contact Gav Roberts HERE or use the Form HERE and I’ll pass your details onto Gav.

So exciting stuff.  Please don’t be shy in coming forward.

I should add that the musical slots are open to any genre of music, Folk, Acoustic, Plugged In, Rock (But quiet Rock ‘cos we have to watch the sound levels, I think we’re only allowed a certain number of decibels)
